Stock Car Football  - 7:30PM

The object of "Stock Car Football®" is to push the six-foot football down the track to the goal line. The event involves 16-24 cars and drivers in team form. Each team consists of 2 or 3 cars. Two cars can be on the playing "field" at one time. Any time a car leaves the playing field, a substitute or back-up car may enter. The football is placed in the center of the track. The team getting the ball over the goal line scores a touchdown. Stock Car Football is a favorite event at county fairs. The secret to the success of the event is the durability of the “football”. Covering this 6-foot, monster ball is roofing material supplied by Johns Manville Corporation. This material sure takes a beating!
